Athletes will be placed in a team and assigned a camp coach for the weekend, they will play multiple games across the weekend, and be encouraged to put their newfound skills in to action. The Jamboree sessions will expand on the content explored in the Hotshot Skill Sessions.
The Jamboree encourages competition from athletes around the state and allows athletes to experience a competitive environment whilst learning the fundamentals of the game of basketball in a fun and encouraging space. Based on the classic midway arcade game, the object of Hot Shot Basketball game is to either score the most points in 60 seconds or score 10 baskets in the least amount of time.
Kids Choice Sports coaches will coordinate classes, with assistance from parent coaches at various stations and in games.
